                                                   ...it all started early a long time ago…

          Beginning:

...since I was just a little boy running around the house I have been always fascinated with my dad’s acoustic guitar and electric bass. Twisting the knobs making them out of tune sometimes to a point of breaking the strings. My dad was not happy of course but that and me being a rebel could hardly stop me. Around the age of 6 when starting first grade my parents were discussing which way they should point me and my artistic talents. I remember that my dad said that he does not want me to be a musician like him because I was growing up in the 80’s in a deeply repressed and socialist Czechoslovakia. In order to be able to officially play you had to go through a commission of communist party which was degrading. He did not want me to have that experience. Instead of the musical carrier the decision was drawing, graphics, painting and other visual art. I immersed myself in it and studied the history of art. From the ancient hieroglyphs, thru medieval Gothic, the beauty of Renaissance, the craziness in Impressionism, psycho illusions in Surrealism to the most recent Pop Art of 60’s and 70’s. I love them all.
